NOTD Using OPI liquid sands

As much as I love nail art, sometime a situation calls for something a bit more formal on your nails. I have an important meeting this week and because I get really bored with plain nails, this was my compromise.

OPI Pussy Galore (pink) and OPI Solitaire (white)

I love the OPI liquid sands for there ability to add something extra to your nails

Another Design For Short Nails - Border Nails

This weeks design came from two necessities. One was that my nails are still very short. However there was a more serious factor I needed to consider. I bought two new nail polishes and I couldn't decide which one I wanted to use so I used both. However they aren't colours I would usually put together so I though a bordered nail design could work.

Ball nails

A while ago I had my Uni ball and so of course I had to match my nails to my outfit.  I was in love with my jewellery; especially my bracelet so I wanted something on my nails to compliment it without over powering it and this was the result.

Simple Design for Short Nails

My nails are really short at the moment due to sports so I had to think of something to make do. I decided on a simple quarter segment design as they are really easy to do no matter the length of your nails. It kinda reminds me of a crest design.

OPI Get Your Number (liquid sand blue) and Australis Foil Spoil (Silver)

A teal feather inspired mani

Inspiration can be a weird thing. I saw a feather blowing along in the wind across the grass and this design popped into my head.

Ulta3 French Pink (Sheer Pink), Rimmel 60 seconds Green with Envy (Green) and Australia Blue Tiger (Blue)
Unfortunately despite my best efforts, I couldn't photo how gorgeous the green is. In real life it is so much more vibrant.

Spring Flowers Nail Art

Up in Queensland the weather has been amazing recently and it is really starting to feel like spring. Therefore I thought it was perfect time to start breaking out flower nail art deigns again. Here is the first of what I'm sure will be many.
